Open.Closed is a nostalgic foray into the imagination of childhood, rendered in stop-motion. The film delves into the 'secret world' within a traffic light, animating the tiny laborers who control time and color. It is a tale of perception, anticipation, and the fantasy worlds we construct to make sense of our surrounding reality.

I oversaw the project's full visual arc, from early sketches defining the rhythm and sequence breakdown to the final framing. Lighting the miniatures proved to be the greatest challenge - highlighting the contrast within the mechanical and claustrophobic interior of the traffic light.
